.....And was suprised by the results. I just did it as a test, and im not sure if it means anything. when the BOV vents, the RPMs come down a little sooner, but it still runs fine. driving is fine too. this is on a stock setup with free mods. i have heard of most cars dieing or running crappy, but since mine doesnt, does that mean anything? i love the sound of it too, but i can already tell in the 15 miles that my milage went down.

You have an automatic transmission, duh.
Now recirculate that shit and I won't call you a ricer.

Just to assure you that we are all not internet racers, we are from your area and will be more than happy to meet up with you and teach you why venting is bad. I admit I tried it at the track, and realized the decrease in performance, so take it from the people who have already done the trail and error, this is not going to benefit you in any way. Shoot any of us an email to find out when the NW guys will be getting together again and mabye even hitting the track to settle a friendly bet;) .

stfu khalid, dre99gsx made 448whp using the same bov as i use with that angle hose to clear the hood and clamps, so STFU DICK HEAD

wow, all us from wa. wierd. so tha auto thing does make a difference, even when i let off for a corner, then get back into it? it is back to the intake now, just did it to see what would happen. i am getting a complete 90 TSI 5spd car for $700, ill take 14b, external oil cooler and pump, and afew others and switch with mine and re sell it. turbo should be a good improvement i think.

Not weird, I saw yor thread and we where all chating on AIM and I showed it to them. Don't get our post's wrong where not all jerks, well, at least I'm not the other two are though. But if you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email or PM.

OMG khlaid who the F.uc.K threw it off topic in the first place? telling me my shit is mounted wrong!, and yes the turbo will be an improtment better yet, y not use the 90 tsi 5 spd over ur auto car???

speaking of 5spd,for you locals interested, on river road in kent, AAA auto wrecking has a 1G AWD with the 5spd and linkage and everything else needed for the swap. i would like to get it, but have no money right now. could probably get it cheap.

now, i dont have a logger yet, so i cant tell what is happening, but venting to atm. could eventually mess things up without a vpc, correct. when it vents, it over riches the motor, then probably over leans it to correct it, which would cause a surge right? why didnt mine surge?

90 TSI is FWD, not AWD like my auto. plus, ive done alot of performance stuff to FWDs before(2.2 shelbys w/5spds) and i cant stand tire spin. i love my awd, but i might drive the fwd while upgrading the awd.

Flux Capacitor? Dont you need gigawatts of power for that? Im sure if you could rig one up you would be the first DSM in the 6's. Im gonna develop a nuclear reactor to sit in my hatch, and produce that power.

RPM's are going down because the loss of metered air is causing your car to be flooded with fuel.....your plugs will be fouled, and you will get about 2 MPG. if its a stock BOV...its leaking ALL THE TIME, and your losing even more metered air, but a constant leak will cause your car to accelerate like a civic.

Enough of this crap.

I better not see this again. We all know th negative effects of venting.
