Just bought a TSI and has an O2 dump , I think it sounds really good, but does this hinder or hurt the engine at all ? Thanks

Does not hurt any thing.
Other than a little more niose than an interanl dump.

thanks for the answer.... My idle jumps a bit, would that be b/c the engine is looking for the air that is venting ? This was only done a few driving days ago and hoping that it is one of those things that the computer just gets used to a fixes ???

I think you're a little confused :)

The O2 dump doesn't affect anything, it just vents wastegate exhaust outside instead of to the exhaust system. The computer doesn't care about exhaust.

If you're talking about BOV venting, then that could possibly cause a screwy idle, but that's been talked about more than enough, just look around.
