I'd love to see some more information on them. Actually, it may sound crazy, but I never knew that they even existed.

AWD and no turbo. Same as a GVR4 minus the turbo and obviously a few engine differences. There was one locally but blew the engine, it was turbo'd.

They have lot of interior/exterior differences. The sheetmetal is the same, but the bumpers, wing, grille, side skirts, tail lights, and mirrors are different. The seats, steering wheel, gauge cluster, and shifter are different on the interior. It doesn't have rear steering which can be considered a plus, most VR4 guys remove it anyway. It has ugly ass grandma wheels and baloon tires.

Everything that bolts onto a VR4 and DSM will bolt onto a GGSX though, with a few minor exceptions. The exhaust hangers are different and the exhaust itself is about 6" longer than a DSM. Most intecoolers will fit with minor modifcation to the radiator and a little shortening of the intercooler pipes. The struts on a Galant are a different height than DSM struts, they are only three companies that I know of that make specific struts for a Galant .

The engine is the same as the 1g N/T engines. The transmission and rear differential have higher gearing than a GVR4/DSM.

I'm impressed. What's the compression on that motor to be running such high boost?

I have no idea what the compression is. I really don't think the boost is that high. If the turbo was more efficient at higher boost levels I would have gone farther. If there is no detonation then there's no reason why it wouldn't last.

Galant GSX anyone ever seen one?

I kind of have a desire for a galant GSX. Has anyone ever seen one? I havn't. I know they exist. I found one on the fleabay a few years back close to me even, but alas I didn't have the money. Does anyone know of a specialty site for Galants that i could look for one on. I tired the usuals, dsmtrader, chitowndsm, ebay, autotrader, tuner's classifieds, but I couldn't find anything.

Anyone have anyinfo on them? pictures of the underside? I kinda of want to build an allmotor car. I think a high comression 2.4 with some cams ought to run alright..

Galants

The GSX's are sorta rare....its the VR4 version without a turbo...AWD, no turbo, 5spd....go to Galantvr4.com for more info...use the search function and signup on that site...I personally think they're EXTREMELY helpful....Galantvr4.com FTW

Where did it go? I would definitely find a way up there to get it. If it runs that is.

Don't remember, it was quite some time ago. Thats the first I had heard about Galant GSX's along time ago, and did research after seeing the AD as I had never heard of them at that time. Can't recall if it was running, or where it went. Just saw the ad in the paper and it had caught my attention.

Wish I had picked it up for a daily!

Nice for a DD but, for racing that awd set up adds to much weight for a built N/T engine.
