So a local member has done an engine swap in his 1g and can't get it to start. It cranks and turns over for a brief second and dies. He has the fuel pump wired to the battery which is in the trunk. When the battery is hooked up, the fuel return line automatically receives excessive pressure. When holding the return line, you can feel the fuel rushing through it back to the fuel tank. I have never known this to be normal. Does anyone have ideas? My thought is maybe the fpr is bad and isn't holding any pressure in the rail to squirt the fuel into the ports.

Well he said it does the same thing with his walbro 255, which wasn't in when I was there. He had the stock one in. He also said he'll be getting an adjustable fpr on Thursday.
