Edmonton,
I dont know much about this but I know its good. I am going to be putting some sweetness into my car soon and I dont want to look into buying a new fuel pump aswell. Or not yet anyway. If someone could tell me how much better over stock this is, and how I do this. Thanks

The only thing the rewire does is keep your voltage constant instead of it dropping off in higher RPM's. You are still going to need to upgrade your pump if you are going to be putting some "sweetness" into your car soon:D

Go to vfac.com, they have really easy instructions w/pics for this exact procedure. As 90 tsi said, typically the crap stock wire doesn't hold a constant voltage to the pump, sorta depriving it. Enlarging the wire to the pump directly from the battery ensures a constant battery voltage, and dependable fuel supply.

Do yourself a favor and read the fuel pump tech tips on RRE's site. You will see how much better you will be by simply rewiring. Depending on your setup, you may not need a new one for quite a while.

When you rewire, you can also wire in a fuel pump switch on the relay, I did this and put it under the seat. If you get past the viper, and the factory alarm, the car will not start. An extra safety measure against would-be jackers.
