i have a 97 GSX that im completely going through and rebuilding the motor from bottom up. i was wondering if you guys might tell me ruffly how much hp im looking at.

Wiseco forged pistons-bored .40over 8.0-1compression ratio
Eagle H beam forged connecting rods
arp bolts all the way through
unorthodox under driven crank pulley as well as all other pulleys
Crower stage 3 cams
Crower titanium valve springs and retainers
Si swirled face and polished valves(oversized 1mm intake and exhust)
Aem true cam gears,
Rc 550 cc injectors
Hi boost triple head gasket
Excedy Stage 3 clutch
Injen cold air intake
Greddy type S bov
stock turbo and smic
port and polished head 3 angle valve job
ported intake manifold, exhaust manifold and o2 housing
5.0 mustang throttle body 65 mm
Apex-i N1 exhaust
100 shot of NOS(fogger system)

I am shooting for with the nitrous around 550hp or a lil more, i just wanted to see what u guys think i might run or if anyones set up is like this.

haha, not a lot with teh stock turbo and SMIC, you could really really add a lot if you'd get a 20g and a FMIC.

yeah you need a FMIC for 20G

i just purchased a large fmic and a co2 sprayer for it. anyones input on what numbers i might turn both e.t. and horsepower would be nice

propane and stock turbo will still make no additional power.

the stock turbo maxes out at 250hp.

you can spray a 50 maybe 70 shot of NOS. but anything more and I would think the t25 will pass away, it still wont last very long with the 50shot.

Why are you going with an 8:1 compression ratio? Stock you are at 8.5:1 and the most common Wiseco piston (the brand you are using) is 8.8:1. As with the others, I don't see this rebuild gaining you much with the stock turbo. Since the T25 dies out so much at higher RPM, you may actually lose power with the cams you are running. You may actually find yourself slower than before. Hell, with the big cams and lower compression, you will likely lose most of your low end power too. You will not be happy with this setup until you upgrade the turbo. Sell that CO2 sprayer and put it towards a bigger turbo.

Also I would avoid Crower Cams if I were you. The set I had of Stage II cams from Crower made my low end power nearly disapear. I have HKS 264/272 in the car now and its a world of difference.
