91 block on 93

a guy wants to sell me a block totally rebuilt from a 91 talon tsi for $400, i heard the 90's and 91's are better then the 93 blocks should i get it or not???

the 91 is a 6 bolt block.. I dont know if your 93 is a bolt or 7 bolt.. if you already have a 6 bolt then no.. if not then its viable if your having problems.. otherwise its pointless

If you have a 93, it's a 7 bolt. Larry I think you were thinking of the 92's where they changed from 6 bolt to 7 bolt in the middle of the year.

I say go for it, as long as it's a quality rebuild, you can't beat a 6 bolt.

and remember my car is stock, i have boost guage boost control and thats about it should i go for exhaust first

6 bolt = less likely to crank walk
and bigger rods
