Copper wool as catch can baffling

Got my catch cans today. The square ebay ones that can open at the top and bottom. I know people have used SS wool, but can I use copper wool also without worrying about corrosion?

If you are running the cans the correct way (with suction applied to one side), I wouldn't use anything like that...unless you like replacing turbos or getting strands of that stuff in your engine.

Ya I'm running them correctly. So you wouldn't use ss wool either?
