Profec A or B

Just get a Profec-B. Much more simple, nobody I've ever talked to actually needed the whole "fuzzy logic scramble boost" crap anyway. I run a Profec-B and can say that I love it. I ran an Apex AVC-R (first gen) before that and the Profec is much better.

I had a profec A years ago. It never worked for ****. You could not pay me to put one on my car.
I used a mbc for a while, but after putting a profec B in a friends car I am getting one. It works very well and is easy to use.

As for installation...it took me about 15 - 30 minutes. The Profec B is that simple. Power, vacuum/boost. That's it. It's ready to rock. The only problem was finding room to mount the solenoid. I ended up mounting it to the center console (other things taking up room under hood). It chitters a lot, but you get used to it. If you have room underhood, do it there for certain.

B is awesome. Very easy to set. It works flawlessly. I had a MBC for a few years but went electronic because of boost issues. Don't regret thre price or anything. People will say it's a waste becasue mbc's have gone X et's. But I wouldn't go back.
