Evo engine in a 90 talon

Why can't you put an evo engine? I was calling around to get some prices on a jdm engine and i asked the guy if they could put the evo engine in and he said there isn't a converson what would have to be done to make it fit? also is a jdm engine better than the stock 90 4g63t? My friend and i are going to put a new engine in his car and i am probably going to put one in mine in a couple years.

you can put up to an evo III in your car I think. All the other evo's are setup like 2g's.

Acording to RRE, it wont fit.

So they say it won't fit because the motor mounts are different? Why cant you just make your own motor mounts? When i bought my 2g manifold off this guy i went to his house and he was putting a 4g63t engine in a dodge colt and he made his own motor mounts.

Look at a 1G's roll-stopper mounts (front and rear) are.

Look at where they are on a 2G.

Then you will understand.

Or you can just take it from the most experienced DSM shop in the business.
