Hi-flow cat

Anyone know if that is a trustworthy company??? I'm looking around for a hi-flow cat mainly one that bolts on other then welding it on. I've seen one before but that one was $225 for Burschur Racing 3".

It looks EXACTLY like the one I have on my car, that I got from RRE. RRE sells the cat, with the flanges on it to bolt up to their downpipe, and and an Apex style exhaust for $150. So $50+ shipping for just the cat isnt a bad deal.
These cats seem to flow a pretty good bit, I havent dyno'd it, but my last trip to the 1/4 I was making 112mph trap speeds on unleaded with the cat in, and should be able to get that even a little higher with better driving

where do you get the flanges? thats what makes it so that you can bolt it on right?

RRE also sells the flanges. Bit if you look at the cat that they sell, in conjunction with the downpipe, you can see they add a few inches of pipe to either side of the cat, and the flange, to make it match up. If you are looking for a bolt in 3" cat, you gotta know how the exhaust you have is flanged. Check out the RRE exhaust info page.

hmmm so I would have to get the 2G FWD short downpipe if I wanted to keep my car legal, which is what I'm trying. Then just buy a 3" hi-flow cat

or i can get 3" bolt on custom piping and buy some 3" flanges for the cat and just get it welded on

1/ REMOVE STOCK CAT. 2/ REMOVE SPOT WELDS AND REMOVE OUTER SHEEL OF STOCK CAT. 3/ BUY TEST PIPE 4/WELD OUTER SHELL HALVES BACK TOGETHER AROUND TEST PIPE. IT WILL LOOK JUST LIKE THE REAL THING IF YOU OR THE FUN POLICE PEER UP UNDER THE CAR.
