Important Intake Question...

I am looking into getting a new intake pipe and filter. I have 1993 eagle talon Tsi AWD. I can get a pipe that will fit my 1st gen but i am also planning on getting the 2nd gen MAS a little later on. Is there Pipe that will work for both so i dont have to replace the pipe later on. Also if i just bought a K@N filter and didn't buy the pipe right now could i fit it into the airbox. Also can i remove the airbox or cut it in such a way to increase more flow.

Why are you going to go to a 2nd gen MAS?! Just go with a VPC or something... 2g MASs Suck nutz... OR.... Ill sell you mine when I get a VPC...

I was under the impression that a 2G MAS was significantly better than a 1G MAS. And for a fraction of the cost of a VPC. Maybe that's why.
