Just wanted to know how well 3in exhaust pipe would work over stock?? I also have 2.5in I am going to do upper and lower. Just wondering because it's free and I have a pipe bender....So will it be worth the time and effort???
Is their enything else I can use the pipe for????

Personally I don't think it would be worth it. The inlet and outlet for the intercooler are only around 2" or so anyway, as well as the throttle body being less than 3" too. Seems like it'd be a major PITA to get everything to fit.

Are you talking about using 3" exhaust piping to make Intercooler pipes? I wouldnt use 3" for that unless you are highly modded running a HUGE turbo. I think with moderate mods or stock you would just be causing pressure drop.

Yeah, if you run 3" IC piping on anything less than a HUGE turbo you will do nothing more than add lag due to the large volume to fill, and add some pressure drop. for almost any application, 2 1/4" is big enough.
