starter ground

should the ground that is attached to the bellhousing/starter bolt goes to the battery - terminal or can be grounded on the firewall/chassis? My battery is on the trunk.

I dont run the ground to the tranny bolt. Just to the firewall and had no problems. Just make sure you have a good contact to the metal!
