Dejon Tool front mount

Hey guys,


Just wondering if anyone has heard anything or tried the fmic that dejon tool offers. the one that's 2 stock sidemounts welded together. It sounds good, but if one stock sidemount sucks, is it really worth the 500 bucks to get 2 crappy ones welded together? I'm priceing out intercoolers so if anyone has a recommendation I'd like to hear it.

2 wrongs dont make a right, comparing my Hahn sidemount to the stock sidemount makes the stocker look pretty bad. The slots the air goes through are tiny, the fins are very weak and crappy. I dont think 2 stock sidemounts together will make a difference.

Stock sidemount is 190 cubic inches, Put 2 together and you get 380 cubic inches. My Supra sidemount is 490 cubic inches and cost me $150.00, just some food for thought.

Stock sidemount according to Hahn is 140 cu inches, so 280 if you put 2 of them together.
My hahn sidemount is 270 cu inches. Why not just get that?

Because the Supra Sidemount is almost 500 Cubic inches and cost much less. Unless being bolt on is important, which it is for some people. I just could not pass up the deal I got on my IC.

The supra sidemount is definetly appealing. As i was lookign throught the vfaq tho, I saw you had to cut a pretty big hole, and bang the inside of the frame in. I rather not do that to my car. If there was another way, believe me I would jump on it in a second. I kinda figured the 2 sidemount thing would be kind of crappy. Definetly not worth the 500 bucks.

Man i like dejons stuff, his pipes r nice and what not, but that "fmic" is GHETTO, no way in hell i would roll that. Sorry but i dont know what they were thinkin.

supra sidemount all the way. i love dejon and buy everything i can from them...but not that
