Which is lighter a convertible gs-t or a hardtop? And by how much? Are convertibles still good to race? Even though they are missing strut bars and stuff? am i right about that? Thanks alot, Matt

I think the spyder is about 100 pounds heavier, and as far as racing, you'll need a roll bar for the track (most of them anyway). Any car can be a race car, I read an artical in turbo magizine awhile ago about a 9 sec miata, so get which ever car makes you happy. I love my spyder personaly, living in florida makes it a top down all year round car.
