I'm going to be getting a 91 talon AWD Turbo and the guy im buying it from said it need a little head work. My question to you guys is what do you suggest I do? Fix the engine it has in it ( I don't know the miles ) or just buy a built motor? I do have another daily driver so I will have the intention of doing some heavy mods.

how much are you getting it for? If it's really cheap, fix it yourself. I bought my talon for $1200 and a website. It was blowin' oil so all I had to do was replace the rings. I bought new rings and pistons to fix it, then did some headwork while it was off (3 angle valve job, minor porting, lots of cleaning). There were a few things that were missing but it didn't amount to more than a few hundred bux.
