i'm running my talon at about 17,18 psi and it drops off when it gets to its max boost, i think its my bov leaking its its still the stock bov. what do you think, do you think i should buy an aftermarket one? should i get a vented to the atmosphere or not? and if i do am i going to loose power.

It could be your stock BOV best way to tell is to make an intercooler tester, it is a fitting you fit over your turbo and you pressurize the intercooler pipes. Most people find several small leaks. Usually the stock one is good for 20PSI but it still leaks. You can always get an aftermarket one, you just have to pay for it. If you vent to the atmosphere you will lose power period.

now on those leak testers i don't get how there work, if you hook it up to the turbo and put air through it your going to spin the turbo without any oil to the bearings. right
