I am going to be upgrading to a B16G soon, but first I want to have my fuel mods done. So far I am looking at getting the walbro 255hp, a FPR, 660's, and an safc. Is that everything? Also would a supra pump be a better choice? thanks in advance:dsm:

thats enough to maximize the 16g potential IMO. I had 550's and a 255lph and ran 23psi no problems. 660's are big IMO for a 16g but different strokes for different folks i guess eh? Supra pumps are for wussies that get upset about a little noise. i have never had or heard of a walbro pump failure, thus some people think that the Denso Supra pumps are better quality..... I just would pay that much for them

Sounds good. I would run "reasonable" boost levels until you uncork that exhaust. If you are going to stick with a 1G MAS, I think you'll have to hack it. I was getting terrible fuel cut with 660'c/SAFC and ported 14B. 16G will only make this work. My timing numbers were pretty aggressive too, with1G MAS and 660's--too aggressive if you ask me (28 degrees).

I was planning on just taking it relatively easy untill i get my exhaust done and then after that a front mount WOOHOO! for the MAS is it better to just hack it or get a 2G? thanks for your input guys

That goes against a lot of what I have seen. I’m not implying anything but most people that I have seen need more fuel that 550s can provide on pump gas.

So I’m a wuss now? ;) Supra pump will flow more fuel AND be significantly quieter. Why would I not want that?

I don't care about a little noise, I just want to get the pump that will performe the best, last a while and be good enough for the upgrade to a 20G.

If you're getting the fuel mods anyways, then it's best to go with the 2G MAS.
You'll need:
1.)2G MAS (ebay, DSMTrader) $100.00
2.)Wiring Harness (M&S Recycling) $15.00
3.)Turbo Inlet Pipe for 2G MAS on 1G Car(Dejon Tool) $135.00
-Some people hack the 1G Pipe to fit the 2G MAS somehow, but I'm too lazy!

*Check this out 2G MAS on a 1G

Aww come on rd... I should have exlpianed I guess. 23psi is somethign I would only do on race fuel with my 16g. I ran 18psi daily and ~23 at the track with some c16. I just think that for most applications that the walbro is more than enough (16g/20g) and to pay another 120$ for a pump that flow a tiny bit more that you don't need seems silly to me...

is there a way to get around the MAS, just do away with it all together? or is that a bad idea?

Not a bad idea, just a really expensive one, and a hard to tune one:

AEM EMS
or
HKS VPC
-I think you need another thing called a GCC or something with this one.

I read the info on the VPC on machv but it says nothing about a GCC. What is a GCC anyways I've never herd of it?
