Well guys I'm removing the engine today due to no comp. in one of the cyl. I'm thinking a nice hole in the piston. I bought the car the way it is with a nice amount of after market parts. I was looking at the Apexi downpipe and realized that the first bend from the manifold is 2.5" then goes into a 3" pipe. Is this the way they all are? Thanks Drew

I would recomend getting one from MachV, or extreeme motorsports. they offer a wide range of downpipes, and exhaust. They make mandrel-bent 3" all the way downpipes, as well as o2 eliminator pipes which increase flow a lot.

Mine is a 3" o2 eliminator from Extreme Turbo. I am a happy customer!:thumb:

I never heard of "RNR Racing" maybe due to just getting into the DSM scene. What's there web site address? So I'm taking it the RNR Down Pipe also has the O2 eliminator? Thanks

Thanks for the link, also what is benefit between internal or external 02 dump?

The internal dump is quiet and will route the wastegate exhaust back into the downpipe. The external dump routes the wastegate exhaust to the atmosphere. The external is loud when it opens up and you might not like it for the street.

I always recommend the 3" 02 elim downpipe. It provides as an excellent upgrade over the stock 02 housing.

What's the advantage of going to an external dump over a internal dump or vise verse? Thanks
