I installed my dave brode upper IC pipe today along with a 1g bov. The boost jumped to way past 20..thats all my gauge goes to so i'm not sure exactly how much. I adjusted the boost on my MBC and it wont go less then 20psi. I think i have a faulty MBC. I made the MBC myself(its a ball and spring valve). Before putting the pipe and 1gbov, the turbo would not go passed 13.5psi even with the mbc on due to the fact of the leaky 2gbov. I think i need a new mbc. Any help from u guys will be much appreciated. I have a stock fuel pump and stock injectors.

Yeah remake or buy a new boost controller, don't #### around with boost, it WILL kill you(r engine)!

Yeah, your MBC is dead, check the bearing you used, if it's not stainless steel, it probably started to rust a little and gets stuck. Check out www.SlowboyRacing.com, they have a really nice MBC for 50 and it's guaranteed for life. The other bonus is that they leave you some extra aluminum so you can put a screw in and make a mounting bracket.

Everthing is all good now. I took my mbc apart. Replaced the ball and spring. Presto...boost stops at 16 psi. I still have no clue why this thing did what it did. Anyways its all good now. Def. gotta get a fuel pump next. Walbro 255lph.
