Which Dejon intake pipe?

The only thing you'll have to investigate beforehand is if there even is a reducer coupling with that large of a step. I don't recall seeing any that went from 3.5" to 2.5" or whatever the 14B inlet size is.

Hmmm......friend says 2½" Ill have to go from there. Can I use any type of reducer? Is it safe, cuz Im presumming it gets pretty damn hot. Will it melt?

Yeah, the 14B inlet is 2.5"-- I just looked it up. A good quality rubber or silicone coupling isn't going to melt. I went with silicone, which stands up to higher temps better, but if your intake temps are hot enough to melt one, you have more serious problems. Since my original post I've been looking around and so far all I've found are 3" to 2.5" ones-- no 3.5" yet. Like I said, though, ask Dave at Dejon to see what he says.

I have a T25 or 14b or 16g now but I plan to buy a BIG turbo soon. Can I buy a full 3" intake pipe now (instead of a 2 1/2") so I don't have to buy again later? Not for the 14b and 16g because the wastegate actuator's mounting bracket interferes with the 3" coupling, but yes, will work on the T25.

I did the custom 3" PVC pipe intake, and they have some kind of hardcore rubber reducer at Home Depo we used to go from 3" to 2.5" for my 14b... i'm sure you could do the same..

As far as the wastegate goes.. thats interesting, i would think the PVC piping would be thicker.. the only problem we had was the vaccume line to the wastegate got pinched, so i smacked 20psi real ####ing fast before i realized what we did... so we just bent the metal tube down, and reconnected the rubber vaccume line, all was well.

Is 3½" just too big? I was thinking of customizing a reducer to fit one to a 14B for now, but I will eventually be upgrading to an FP Green (or around that size of Turbo). 3" or 3½" pipe?

I bought an upper/lower ICP set secondhand, and the beading was pretty stinky; one end wasn't acutally beaded at all, just flared.

I figured I got what I paid for, and TBH they don't leak, and nobody can see it... so it's all good.

Just compare how much Dejon's stuff costs vs. what you'd be paying if you drove a WRX or a Supra. We get some real performance bargains for these cars.

(I also have a couple of their COP-18 pipes, and the welds on those are pretty good.)
