I think my stock turbo has taken a dump. It is the T-too small on a 95gst. When I hit around 7psi of boost it slowly goes up to like 12psi and then makes a noise like a dying duck. Then the car buckles. As long as you arent not under boost it is ok. What do you guys think. The car was doing great just hitting 15psi for a couple of days after I changed the stock downpipe and cat to a 2.5inch downpipe to straitpipe along with the 255lph walbro pump. The car has 88k miles on it and I have no clue what has been replaced on it as far as engine and turbo. What are the typical signs of a flailing turbo. Does it sound like someone shot a duck and he is plumeting downward or what. Thanks.

billowing smoke, lots of shaft play, seizing coking to death =)
ANyhow, it sounds like it may be something else, id try checking out the ingnition/fuel before the turbo... then again who cares, your installing the new one anyway right?

Could it be the blow off valve then. Its a greddy type-s. The car has no power now because when it hits boost it makes a loud whining noise like someone ran over a duck. Any ideas.

Not yet. I have an afc leaning the mix out at 20% at low rpm and climbing to 5% at low throttle high rpm.
