Help! Random no start

Hello I have a 1996 Eagle Talon tsi fwd 5 speed, and it runs great and all but just a month ago it started doing this i'll get in and go to start it and nothing happens just the fuel pump turns on and everything else like cd player but no noise from the starter which was replaced like a year ago or so most the time it starts up and is fine and when it doesn't start I can push start it and runs fine and smooth like usuall but it just randomly won't start like how I discribed above sometimes it will go a week sometimes a couple days/starts apart, I don't know if the starter was to go bad would it just randomly not do anything like that? Also I checked the battery and it was fine and charged.

Pop out your multimeter and check to see if your getting any power to the starter or not. See if any of the wiring is burned up abit or corroded anywhere at all.

Thats what I was thinking of checking hopefully I figure out the problem soon because it is very unrelible and inconvenient having to park where there is a hill so I can get a push start in case it doesn't start...

yea it seems like the starter is getting intermittent power causing it to not start sometimes. i would check the wiring to the starter as mentioned above
