I've read the VFAQ's through and through, I'm new to DSM before I stumbled on to this site I knew nothing of the 4g63 I'm mainly a Honda tuner but I dont just stick to one thing I enjoy learning about different engines and how they particularly work, well anyways along with the question

I've recently purchased a 92 laser awd turbo and I'm interested in getting road race engineerings front mount intercooler, I've read many threads about recirculating&venting, me personally I like venting, but i also read a thread that if you dont recirculate your car will run rich& stumble, die on you, etc.. so if I got the front mount intercooler how could I make it so I could vent? now i know this question may sound stupid to you dsm'rs that have been doing this for a while, but like I said Im new to this and in the past 3 nights I've cramed so much info into my brain about the 4g63 so i could avoid asking redundant questions but I couldnt solve this one any helpfull answers would be much appreciated. thanx pz.

No matter which intercooler you choose, your intercooler piping will have some kind of provision for a blow-off valve. If you choose to vent it (a bad idea, IMO) instead of recirculating it back into the intake, just don't connect the recirculation hose to the BOV-- leave it open.

if you REALLY want to vent then buy the HKS VPC or something similar. AEM or some letter name company makes a fully programmable ecu for our cars now so you could buy that if you got th $$. Some people say that just getting a s-afc fixes the problem, and a few people say they vent w/ absolutely no problem whatsoever. There are probably more options than what i listed but at least its somewhere to start.
