20g I.d.

Hi, I can buy a rebuilded (zero miles) Mitsu 20G turbocharger for a good price. but how can I know for sure that it is a 20G??? Can someone please help me identify this turbo?

Well, the compressor housing is the first give away. If you are afraid it is like a 16g or something I take it, the tdo6 is shaped completely different. The outlet for the tdo6 is straight down. 16gs and 14bs are up at the top and at an angle. The picture below is of the tdo6 housing and 20g wheel. You can just read the side. Not all 20gs are set up same but it will probably say tdo6 on the side.

The owner said that it originally came off a Talon! Didn't know that Talons came with 20G's?
In an other post I made, a few guys told me that this turbo is capable of 400WHP with the right supporting mods and low 11 sec to high 10 sec.
Is this true?? Because for me the turbo is very small to make this kind of power.................?

Looks exactly like the one I have sitting next to me. TD05h 20g. Yours is not clipped where mine is though. Everything you heard about this 20g is correct. It has the potential to run 10's w/ AWD and a good driver. It is also capable of 400hp.
