Morpherex- we have made them now for CSM's, 1G AWD, 1G FWD, 2G AWD, 2G FWD and a set of 420A mounts. As long as some one sends mounts and cash, they will keep doing them. I believe we are over 20 sets now. I would not be opposed to other makes and models either.

I haven't stomped on it yet in 1st, haven't tested for wheelhop (or lack there of), and aren't smokin'em up (yet). Just give me a bit more time to do some personal testing. Besides, the tires I have now (post 54) aren't worthy of being compared with high performance rubber. I'll experience more traction issues than those that run stickier tires.
Tom, give me your thoughts on post #86 and #94. I'm interested to hear what people have to say with those two posts in mind.

Well Anthony, I think the best thing to do here is figure out what kind of condition your towers are in before you go mounting all 4 up solidly. Clean off any surface rust etc. to prevent the towers from rusting in the future. If they are in bad shape repair and brace them.
This may sound funny, but I would give the towers a couple whacks with a rubber mallet or something of the like to see how the tower reacts, metal weak, big hole, etc. Also see if you can push it in or out or deform the metal with your fingers. I don't know what your towers look like so these are some pretty general thoughts.
I would imagine a set of towers in good shape could stand up to the mounts. I also imagine the vibrations would increase a bit more with the sides installed similar to Romeen's filled mounts. I don't really think there will be any more performance gains however. The front and back seem to do most of the work in regards to the motor rolling back and forth.
Install them and see how it feels, if you think it is too harsh on the body you could add some bracing to the towers.
I do have a question about the mounts for those who have some miles on them.
Have the main mount bolt holes held up well? How tight do the bolts fit through the mount holes? Rather snugly? I am wondering if they are going to wallow out after some time with the steel bolt and the mount being softer material, that is all.

The bolt holes on mine look fine. No rounding of the edges or sign of wearing down. But I only have a few hundred miles on them so I really can't give a fair assessment of how they will hold up in the long run.
The bolt holes are the exact same size as the holes on the oem mounts which as you know are not real snug. This makes for a pretty easy install.

Just checked, about 500 HARD (over 50 hard shifts/WOT tuning pulls and 7 track passes) miles on them and they're perfect.

Dangit, to think 2 years ago i was going to machine me some solid aluminum inserts but didn't want to get bashed by people for doing it because of the stuff i read about going solid. So i machined me a nice set of solid urethane inserts. When i get me some time ill chuck up a piece of aluminum to make me some CNC aluminum bad boys still have the program from the urethane ones(nice thing about CNC)

I will let you know when they arrive Brandon. I won't take the money out of paypal until they get here. Just the way I do things to show I am legit.
And I don't care what others think. I only want results. It is my car and not theirs. It performs how I want and is designed how I want.

My opinion on the mounts:
I've only had them in for a little while and have only gotten a few days of driving in with them. As compared to the previous mounts (Prothanes), they definitely have a good bit more vibration. When I'm coming out of first or out of second at a low RPM, it'll shake my mirrors and seat a good bit. It's fine with me though! It's like a free massage chair. It doesn't last past 1500 RPM's or so. Then it's just smooth. I used to slip it a little bit to get out of first, but I've been trying to get myself to get out of it faster, which nets a little less vibration. Either way though, it feels much better.
I've done a few quick shifts, but haven't had it out to a track/course yet. Stupid weather But I'm *hoping* to get to an autox event this weekend so we'll see how that goes. Just normal driving does net a bit more solid shifting. It doesn't feel like anything is shifting in the engine bay at the point when I move the shifter. I also don't have any more shifter wiggle in 4th gear. I did the fix (taking off the end of the tranny and tightening up the gear ring) a while ago, but this fixed 4th gear for some reason.
Overall, I've very happy with them. But, I have only driven my car for about 20 miles or so. So these are just initial reactions as compared to the previous full Prothane setup. I'll post back more results as I get more miles and also some track time hopefully!

Well I have an auto AWD that is launching off the line at 15-20 pounds of boost on a 50 trim so I am hoping these should help the car not break the tires loose and keep in in place when I am brake boosting.

Finally remembered to do a simple observation test. Had my sister rev to 4K and then 5K. Massive improvement. It just sits there, as if smoothly idling minding its own business. Not that it completely surprised me, but to actually see the drastic decrease in engine sway brought a grin to my face.
Will have to see if a local fellow can help me out posting up a vid... before Brian and Eric beat me to it.

I'll have to do that (or have Eric do it and get a video since I'm not near my car)! It would be even better if I would've gotten a video of the car before the solids to see a comparison. I don't think I have one, but I'll have to check.

I just got the mounts in... drove the car for a very short time. From what I felt, it feels soo much better. I did one quick little launch with the two step and didn't feel any wheel hop. Also, did a quick 2nd gear pull to get around a car and felt very nice. Shifts and clutch engagment/disengagment already feel a lot better. I don't feel the tranny slop around anymore. I might throw on the slicks for the first time tomorrow and practice launching. I will post up more on the mounts as I test.

I've done some launching and all I can say is this is how the car should feel. It is so solid. The vibration isn't that crazy at all. You can feel more vibration, but only at low rpms and nothing that would bother you. Shifts, clutch engagment, and launching all feel so much better.

I'd love if someone could post a video of inside the cabin and a clip underneath the hood to see the VISIBLE differences.
