I'm getting fustrated with the search.....

For you guys that have pushed the T25, at what RPM did you hit your max boost? Did the RPM that you hit max boost change as you increased boost?

Repy with (a)set boost level and (b)RPM max boost level was attained.

Thanks.

Stock boost is at 11.2 i believe, you wouldnt want to run a T25 past 15 for daily use. So the difference in rpms at full boost would be a very small margin for a T25.

i think irregaurdless of what boost you set it at it's always gonna peak at the same level.

for example if your boost is set at 12psi you might spike at 20psi when you go WOT.

if you were to change it to 15psi you're still gonna spike at 20psi. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Your question is kinda confusing. I hit full boost from the time I go WOT till about 5200-5500rpms. Thats about when the boost starts to fall off.

Is this what you meant?

Some fact about the T25>>

-The T25 runs out of steam at about 5500 RPM and start to drop off till redline at stock boost.
-Stock boost 12.5
-It should be full spool by 2500 some people even earlier.
-You can run 19 psi but it will spike then fall off and at redline be at 12.5
-Stock BOV is garbage. It will not hold more then 13 psi.
-If you want a turbo that can hold to redline then you will need to upgrade.

Yeah agreed. You will spike with the T25 around 5550 then it will cut off like 6 psi or more. I could get mine to run at 15-16 to hold then it would run up to 19 or higher then fall back off. Porting helped a lot with that though and when i would hit fuel cut at it i would let off. But yet race gas fixed that as well. When it would run up that high sometimes mine would hold 19 psi creep slowly to 20, then fall back to about 15. Not reccomended though, seriors detonation with all that hot air is and issue.

The max boost I run is 16PSI. I get spikes up to 21PSI (Yikes!), if I jump from part to full throttle while in the 2800-4000RPM range in any gear higher than 2nd. The system holds 16PSI until 5200 RPM, where it starts to bleed off fast. By 7200RPM, the turbo can only make 12 PSI. Porting and race gas would both help this, but the bottom line is that the turbine and compressor wheels on this turbo are just too small.

Hope this helps,
Matt.

Yes,

What I meant was, whatever your boost is set to.. at what RPM does it hit MAX (i.e. what you set it to). Not interested in what RPM it holds. Just when it first hits. I guess in 2nd or third gear would be optimum? But if you have it for all the gears, then great (although I would think they should all be pretty close anyways)

now for a T25 please? :)

What about if u port the exhaust side of the turbo and manifold? What kind of psi numbers r u looking at and at what rpm?

if the T25 only holds to 5500rpm.. is it really worth it for the stock guys to boost it up to 15psi or so? seems somewhat pointless to me.

T25:
a) 16psi
b)2500-5400

my quick .02:
i barely get any boost spike (i have the RRE MBC), only like to 17psi then right back and constant at whatever it set it to......
here's my boost in each gear:
1st:never get to 16 cause its too fast...i hit about 14 @5000
2nd: 16psi@only 2500
3rd: 16psi@2800
4th: 16psi@2800
5th: 16psi@3000
I hope that helps,
Brian
