big intercooler-boost drop?

i just intsalled a front mount on my car its not to big not to small but i was wondering why do some guys get boost drop wen they ungrade to a bigger intercooler??

no boost drop.
A Little more lag that depends on the size of the intercooler.
That's if you have a small turbo.

ok thanks... then the reason for my buddy loosing boost ever since he put his front mount on must be somehting diff but he put his side mount back on he had the full boost he was lookin for?

Yeah it just takes a little longer for a smaller turbo to fill the intercooler with air.
