have fixed some leaks and have tried to go out and drive the car again today. The turbo is a t3 sc6152, the thing is I feel the car start moving forward as if it is about to build boost and trying, but then it bucks and does not want to go higher in rpm. I am not sure what this is at all. I have just topped off my oil and I put too much after the turbo swap, would this cause any type of misfire or are things becoming way to soaked in oil?
Please help, I wanna actually feel the boost damn it...

Na, that wouldn't cause anything like that.

Heres what it most likely is.

1. Boost leak, probably something big since its bucking. Most of the time it is an intercooler pipe not clamped down.

2. If everything is clamped down, do another boost leak test and check and spray everywhere with soap water.

3. Check your spark plug wires for any signs of cracking or wear. Check teh connectors and make sure they are still good. When mine got old they weren't making a good connection with the plugs.

4. Check your spark plugs and make sure they are correctly gapped. I'd say for the price, just replace them.

I agree with the post above me, it is almost definately a boost leak. Check out the DIY section, it will have instructions to make a boost leak tester. I only costs like $15, it's a must have for anyone who owns a turbocharged car.

I actually went out and took some logs right now at 1AM in the morning. It seems that when I start to build boost, I somehow got negative timing, yes negative??? The timing goes from like 25* and then drops to -10 when boost comes, and obviously this is when it starts bucking and does not want to accelerate. Now I just want to know, how does this happen? Never seen a log of it.
Thanks for the help

Your antilag is active. It is set to 10 degrees ATDC which is negative 10 degrees. . . Do you have your clutch wire attached? where is it referenced? at the cruise switch or the start switch? I see that it is set to activate at 5000 rpms. But maybe there's a problem there. I havn't heard on the dsmlink forums of the antilag activating early or late . . .

The bucking. Does it feel like the car is completely cutting out? The timing dropping to -10 degrees may just be a symptom of another problem. Like above. Or, for example, an intermitant connection at the coolant temp sensor will cause the engine to cut off and buck the car for a second then return back to normal operation once connection is re-established. And sometimes a low sample rate would nto even catch the sensor voltage changing. . .

Thanks for the help guys. I found out that the problem was the clutch switch. I inverted it in the "misc" box. Man this turbo is weak:cool:
