Hello, I am at a point where I am having to decide between two modifications since I do not have the money to fund both. I am looking at this as "the best bang" for the buck type mod and my budget is around the $600 range. Any opinions are appreciated and I am included a list of the modifications that are already done to my car to help everone help me. I am also open to suggestions on other modification ideas as well. The current mods are as follows:

Top end:
- stock head
- HKS 272 intake and exhaust cams
- Cometic HP HG

Bottom End:
- Wiseco 9:1 .020 pistons
- Eagle rods

Cooling:
- 32x12x2.5 FMIC
- 2.5" LICP
- 2.5" UICP
- Dual Stage Meth Kit

Turbo:
- AMS T3/T4 GT35R
- AMS T3/T4 adapter plate for dsm exhaust manifold
- Tial 38mm external gate mounted on o2 housing

Fuel and Tuning:
- 780cc injectors
- Aeromotive AFPR
- Walbro 255 hp pump
- AFC 2
- Eprom ECU w/ Keydiver stage 3 chip
- 2G Mas

Exhaust:
- AMS 3" Downpipe
- AMS T3/T4 o2 housing with prevision for 38mm external gate
- 3" cat back with test pipe

Transmission:
- 1G stock trans
- ACT 2600 PP
- ACT street disc
- Fidanza Flywheel

No question, given you already have a socketed eprom ecu, DSMlink is the next logical step. The tune you can get from it will blow the SAFC out of the water, and give you better gains than the SMIM will give you with your current tune.

Coming from someone with DSMLink, you should choose DSMLink over a SMIM.

DSMlink no question. Not only will you see the greatest HP gain with the improved tuning (especially with your mod list), but your car will run smoother all the way around since your able to dial those injectors and 2G Mas in.

i was in the same position as you last year. go with DSMLINK, then work your way into the smim. you can bolt on all the parts in the world but it wont be shit until it is all tuned together to work properly.

Turbo:
- AMS T3/T4 GT35R

Fuel and Tuning:
- 780cc injectors

DSMLink all the way. Ive tuned cars with a S-AFC and DSMLink and I'll take DSMLink all the way. I have it on my car and its the Best think ive used with out going to a full stand alone unit and for the cost it is almost comparable to AEM EMS for $1000 less. But to get to the Point get DSMLink.

I would make one change to your setup that you have with the GT35R I would get some larger injectors (950cc). You'll over run the ones you have if you try to push alot out of that turbo. ie.. High boost and race gas. But thats only if you car going to be running that turbo to its peak. Besides that thats a really nice setup and good luck with you choice.
