First Mods

I already bought a autometer boost gauge and a MBC. I am going to need to get a new exhuast manifold (cracked). I've done all the prep checking and have even changed all the oil lines and I now leak no oil from anywhere! The car is now ready for some new mods...

What should my first mod be? I was thinking Exhaust. Down pipe and a 40 Flowmaster?

Downpipe and catback are a good start and will help open things up a bit.

Have you done all applicable free mods?

You should try and get your hands on a logger before you start going too much further.
After the logger, definitely re-wire your stock pump... if not upgrade to a 190. Then you can start turning up the boost slightly while monitoring your logs.

I am confused about Loggers and how to use them... Yes I've done the free mods. I'm doing the fuel pump tommorrow.

If you need another exhaust manifold, try to get a 2G unit from the classifieds. If you want a new one Turbochargers.com sells a GT manifold for about $150ish. www.dsmparts.com and many other vendors sell them.
