first off, any model preference? i want the K&N brand for sure.

second, will i need any kind of special adapter, etc to fit a cone filter on once the air box is gone?

thanks guys

aha! good point awdturbo....there we go....

its a 2g...theres no install guide for 2g's on there. i still have that newbie paranoia about breaking stuff

Cone filter install is the 2nd easiest install next to a MBC

YOu need a adapter and a K&N Filter and your good

AS TALLEN stated that adapter simply bolts to the mass air sensor then you put the filter on its a peice of cake.
K&N has lost there patenet so you can tell that alot of the filters are know using there technology, Like INJEN is for sure.

i got the one from procarparts.com for $36. It comes with the adapter just make sure you get it on there nice and tight.
