hi

i am thinking on getting a 2.5" catback (pace setter) for my 2g awd talon but the one for the eclipse is cheaper at nopi.com- so the question is will a eclipse cat back fit a talon is the same tubing route???

talons and eclipses are the same car. and AWD TSi is the same thing as GSX

thanks also, what is more accurate a electrical A/F gauge or a mechanical?

any good site for a cheap a/f gauge or egt???

I dont think that there is any such thing as an electrical a/f gauge... For the most part, it just reads the signal from your O2 sensor... but just as a general rule of thumb, there isnt really any differance between a mech and elec gauge... at least not as far as accuracy.. it is just usually easier to hook up an electrical one since it is just wires... if you use a mech you have to hook up lines to the actual thing you are monitoring (ie: oil, water, vacuume, etc)....
Good place to buy gauges? try egauges.com that is where I get my stuff usually... good prices! :) Have fun!!

i know this is an old post but i recently ran into the same thing with my FWD TSI. i called about an Apexi N1 and the guy told me that i couldn't get it because the manifolds were different...

i was like... ummmm... and then i stopped talking to him.

All A/F gauges are electrical. They all read an electric signal.

The difference between a mechanical and electrical gauge it how it receives the signal. I have an electrical FP gauge in my car. There is a sending unit in the engine bay that creates an electrical signal which is sent to the gauge. The mechanial version of the FP uses hoses and an isolation unit. The fuel in the line presses against a diaphram and that in tern moves a nonflamable liquid in and out of the gauge. I didn't want the hassle of setting up the mechanical version and the electronic version is MUCH safer.
