I bought a GT exhaust manifold from turbochargers.com and I'm having a shop put it in. The shop called me last night saying that the manifold is too big and it does not fit. I searched here and know for a fact that it CAN fit. When compared with the original 1g manifold the middle 7 holes align but the bottom most left and most right are off. They did grind the driver side corner of the manifold to clear the power steering bracket.

Can anyone post what exactly needs to be done to the GT manifold to fit a manual '92 TSI AWD so that I can tell them what to do?

Please help, my car has been in the shop for 5 days now!

Hmm, thats weird we put one of these on my friends auto 91 gsx and my auto 2g and they fit fine, do you have any pictures or can you take any?
