Yes it is.

The difference between that a d a regular O2 housing is the size of the internal passages.

That's true.

first off THANKS for the replies...you guys are awesome..

http://www.rnrracing.com/edp.html

if u look on the top of this page, u see the first pic is a ONE piece DP...so that constitutes it as an o2 elim...but yet, the 2nd and third pics, they are not one piece...granted they are EXTERNALLY dumped, so i guess thats different.....

UUGGHHHH..this sux...it seems like some companies have FAKE o2 elim DP's and just call it that....

which is a TRUE 3" o2 elim DP company then? i hate shopping around but this exhaust thing is making me very picky now...PLZ PLZ PLZ provide links and some kind of explanation to the pic of why it is a TRUE o2 elim dp....ALL RESPONSES ARE MUCH APPRECIATED...thanks

if u also look at the first pic in the page, isn't the downpipe facing the wrong way (part that mounts to the turbo) ...it seems as if it should be facing the other way right? ahhhh...dont mind me, im just getting hella picky..i've been looking for the right turboback o2 elim system for 3- months...im getting irritated....

my 02 elim is one piece from rnr, but they don't have to be like the dsm performance and hrc i think

I just ordered a one piece o2 eliminator (atmosphere dump) for the 98 GSX from RNR, It is the best value I have seen for what it is.
