Ok just a quick question

14b at 20 psi what kind of power will this make? Supporting mods tt supra fuel pump, boost guage,a/f, oil pressure.

16g at the same psi and same mods?

a 14b will not perform well at 20psi. The 16g will do ok. But a big 16g will be much better.

The reason why I ask is I just bought 90 gs turbo and just installed a boost gauge this weekend and boost goes to 22 psi and holds at 20. It's running fine so far but I just wanted to know what type of power this thing might be making. I'm going to go through and fine the mbc to turn down but just thought I'd ask.

TURN THE BOOST DOWN! You need to upgrade your fuel pump and prolly your injectors too before you go to 20 psi. Running lean can fugg up your car.

When I got the car the boost was turned up that high and I had no idea until I hooked up the gauge. This #@%#@%#@%#@% face I bought the car from made a mbc and set it as high as it would go. Either way problem solved lowered to 12 psi. Thanks:thumb:

If he set it that high, who knows how long he's been running it like that?

Luckily DSMs are over-engineered to withstand idiots like that. :thumb:

yeah..... GSX RCR!!! I used to have a 76 hatch back cvcc those things rule!! Anyhow, under the right circumstances 20psi on a 14b is fine, but with the car being very near stock I cant imagine youd be making anymore horsepower than stock like that (maybe a few), as you were prolly running pretty dang lean =)

My car was peggin 22 and then dropping down to around 19 when I bought it. I did have a fuel pump though.

I think half of it was the cheap guage. I installed a greddy to see where it is at but it is down.

I have my head off and looking at the ehadgasket and everyhting it seems fine.

20psi of hot air wont make you as fast a 17psi of good air.

Also you might check out a new fuel filter before you do the pump. I have heard guys say you wont even max out the stock pump until 12's if you remove all the restrictions.

Throwing a whinebro at it may not be the best choice. (No proof here just some other guys opinion)
