Rickshaw,
hi guys,

I'm not sure if i'm having a fuel problem here.
i have a t28, fmic, boosting about 21psi, on 94 gas. i have a 190 fuel pump, RC 550cc's., safc -27% , AEM wideband at 11.4.

my symptoms as follows.
when i launch from 1st gear, the car reaches full boost, and produces a misfire, or huge hesitation, and then the car will then continue on very strong.

I have regapped my plugs to .028 and they are BPR7ES, they are nice and brown. And the car still does it.

Do i need more fuel pressure?

Derek

You'd only need more fuel pressure if you were reaching the upper IDCs. If you aren't running out of fuel then there's no real reason to raise your fuel pressure. That being said, your misfire can be caused by any number of things, but running lean is usually not one of them.

i can't tell if i'm actually maxing out my injectors as i only have a pocketlogger. and it doesn't tell.

If you aren't sporadically going lean at high boost levels (even though you keep adding fuel) then it's most likely the fuel pump leaning out. If you gave me an airflow reading, boost level and AFR I can give you a decent estimation of how your fuel pump is doing.
