Hey guys,
I just installed my aeromotive FPR kit from ImportEvolution and it went very smoothly. Install was straight forward and the kit came with everything that you needed, even teflon tape :rocks: . I decided to snap some pictures for those who wonder how to mount it and such.. enjoy :thumb:

Hey! thanks for posting this link on my thread. :thumb: Looks really good too, and most importantly, easy! :thumb:

I'm going to buy that kit! Thanks for posting pictures. I'm running 99.9% IDC on 450's & 14b. I've got so much knock in 3rd gear becasue I'm out flowing my stock 2g pump at 4.5k I'm getting timing pulled down to 4deg!

I think that 13109, gauge, 255hp & rewire kit will keep me from running .86v untill I get get 1000cc's. I've have the pump and rewire kit laying in the garge for about 9 months now. Just been lazzy.. :)

GSntnct - no problem man :thumb: I just replied to your PM.

scottsee- Why on earth would you need to run 1000cc injectors? I hope you're planning to fuel a GT35/42R with those bad boys. I guess with your link it'd be ok, but seems like a little overkill, no? Either way, more power to ya :thumb:

4 degs of timing due to knock must be crazy scary man

Yes, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the teflon tape that comes with the kit is the blue/white package stuff that dissolves in gasoline... I also bought this kit, it's sitting in the living room unassembled. But I went to Home Depot and picked up some of the yellow/black packaging tape that is for use with gasoline.

It is quite true that the white teflon dissolves in gas. For the moment it does not leak, but if it does in the future, it only takes a half an hour to reassemble and retape the unit. No worries :)

I just ordered my afpr kit from fuel injector clinic and mine came with the high pressure -6 hose instead of SS coming from the return side of the rail to the reg. Did your kit come with that SS line and the fittings or was it two seperate kits a install kit and a regulator kit? Def looks like a nice kit and I paid 219 for mine so the price would have been around the same. By the way take it easy on us 1g eprim chip guys ROFL

A big reasion is because the price diffrence between 660's and 1000cc is very minimum. Just in case I decide to go larger with my goals, sell my system. Just makes sence to me.. When I saw 4deg at 5k it made me throw up in my mouth a little. ;)

good point so you never need to worry about upgrading your injectors again

Scroll to the bottom and you'll see the two different kits, the price difference is 30 bucks from the SS line and the regular hose. :thumb:

scottsee - Not to get off topic here, but the only way I can see that logic is if I was running some sort of injector compensation like you are. With link/ems/chippedEprom than the justification would definitely make sense, but with stock ECU / SAFC2 like me, that wouldn't make any sense :coy:

Just a thought, the SS kit that I got included a 90* brass barbed fitting with a large thread size so that you can tap your fuel rail to accomodate it. IMO the SS feed line kit is purely for looks, as the barbed fitting kit would work just as well :thumb: Perhaps I'm a ricer after all.

Exacto'mundo', unless you went socketed w/keychip dirver or some other fuel compensation offset, zero point!

Hands down. Import Evolution ss 2g install kit for $209 is better then the non-ss for $189. Why must you ask? Because it puts fear into the eyes of the V-tec owners.

I seal all my fuel lines with a product called Gasgacinch, i found it from edlebrock.. Its like loctite except for fuel lines. Use that stuff :thumb:

Well, I bit the bullet an bought the Import Evolutions 2g SS kit with the Marchel gauge. I decited to try a new SS -6an fuel filter to fuel rail kit. They just finished testing it on a shop car. He's writting up the first install instructions and sending them out tomarrow. I'll post up some pics in the next couple weeks when It comes.

I just got my kit today. The only difference is I got the push-lok install kit. I'm putting it in tomorrow. Can't wait. :D

I pieced mine together from eBay and Summit Racing.

I got a Mallory AFPR, part num 4305M, for about $80 shipped from eBay (brand new). They're $98.99 from Summit. Then I got the fittings, a gauge, and I'm going to plumb it up this weekend. I can get pics when I get it done, along with the 550 injectors :)

Deffinitly looks like a nice piece, I'll probably pick one up once I max out my 190 and need to go to the 255.
This coming from Mr. "190 is all you'll ever need." :D :p
