Ok, so I work in a metal shop I like to make as much of my own stuff as I can (radiator mounts, bov adapters) but I have run into a problem. I just got a great deal on a set of greddy hard intercooler pipes, but I don't have a greddy bov. I would like to get these in and retaian the use of my 1g bov for the time being.. ok no problem, just make an adapter, right? I can't seam to find a way to get a greddy flange to work with a 1g bov with out drilling the bov of messing up the greddy flange. is there a premade adapter for this??
oh by the way 99 gsx, right now has stock intercooler cooler pipes and 1g bov with home made adapter.

Yes I could do that... but I don't want to. I want to retain the greddy flange because when I have some money I will get a type s. but untill then I don't want to just have these nice pipes sitting around stareing at me saying "look at us!! put us in!!"

Hmm, if you don't want to cut off the Greddy & weld on a 1g, thats a tuff one. If it was the other way around, there would be no problem. The only thing I can think of is get a Greddy flange, a 1g flange, take a short length of steel tubing and weld a flange on each end. The only issue with doing this would maybe be hood clearance?

I was thinking of making the two flanges, and If I was to do that, tilting the pipe a little forward to help hood clearance. Hopefully I can keep it one piece if I do make it.. I was just thinking of a 1/4 inch place drilled and tapped on one side for the greddy bolt holes and on the other for the 1g bolt holes... maybe..
