I go to the .30 on my spark gapper and look 2 lines down and bam .28

the "coin" shaped gappers are crap. Never use those things. Buy yourself a quality feeler gauge. (if you dont know what one looks like, it has flip out flat pieces of metal of different thicknesses). Ofcourse, make sure you buy one that has 028 on it :)
