Not sure about the 1g parts since I don't deal with them, but the 2g AWD catback/downpipe won't have any issues with clearing the bumper, as we're going to test fit it one last time right before production.

I'll post as soon as I have an update. They should be released very soon after we confirm the fitment one last time.

spam nothing you dont even know the proper time to use the spamer term. give it a brake. just let people talk when you want to "Let everyone know when Your companys exhaust is ready to unleash" then do so dont get all but hurt when people are wanting it now. this has been going on for months.

Its only recently that Megan Racing has gotten so big. From Ebay company to multi-model aftermarket parts supplier in less than a year is quite a jump. Perhaps they took too big a step a bit too quickly, but they've got their heads in the right places. Periods of massive growth or change never go smoothly, but they also never last too long either.

Tax return is in and this Meagan product isn't ready yet, so I'm going a different direction. Check this out.

I live in the Madison, WI area, so this guy's shop is about a 40 minute drive. I'm having it installed at his shop (a week from today) since I don't have a place to work and I want to save the shipping cost.

I am opting for a high flow CAT and going with a Magnaflow dual tip muffler instead of the N1 style.

I'll try to get some pics and post a new thread once it's on the car.

this exhaust eliminates the cat? and where would we be able to purchase both? From what I saw on the SBR website, they didn't have an AWD exhaust and the GST catback has a 2.5 inlet? Which doesn't work with their 2.5-3.0 downpipe, I don't quite understand that. Does the exhaust have a strait 3.0 inlet and will connect to the 3.0 downpipe?

I am considering this exhaust system for my AWD project that will take my turbo and a race block built by yours truly... and a machine shop and all the newengland DSMERS.... or a lot of them ^^;;;

I've been a little busy. They finished the prototype O2 housing, info about it in the MR O2 housing thread. They said the downpipe/catback is coming along still.

Still a little miffed that I have to wipe soot off my rear bumper every few days, but other than that I'm satisfied

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I have had the Apexi N1 on for 2 years or so, its somewhat rusted, but it doesn't affect the operation. SS should outlast your car if it's not damaged in other ways, I wouldn't worry about it really.

SS rusts too.

For an example, look at your stock exhaust.

That was stainless.

It just lasts longer than aluminized.

No it isn't. the factory exhaust is aluminized mild steel with a heatshield made of some other material (may be stainless but doubt it). The Apexi N1 exhaust only has a SS muffler, the rest is coated steel.

Stainless will oxidize over time (especially if subjected to high heat/caustic chemicals) but I didn't seen it on my old T304 SS encased Dynomax Ultraflow over the 8years I owned it and many N.E. winters. The welds to the tip and to the zinc-coated mild steel pipe showed a bit of oxidation though

Megan Racing might delay their production of the cat back due to their recent loss. It happened unexpectadly when a Megan Racing yellow 350z lost control and crashed.
Feel free to express your condolences.
