New Engine.. Questions

I'm replacing my motor and I have a few questions about compatability....
I have a 1998 Eclipse GST Automatic... Im looking at a 4g63t from a 1g... http://www.a1jdmengines.com/other-motors.html.... what i need to know is.. will my ECU be compatible with this engine? and what other info should i be aware of for putting a 1g motor into a 2g...? thanks later

CBgst.. what do you mean it wont work?? he has a 98 turbo and he wants to drop a 91 6 bolt turbo with a 1g head on it into a 2g.. its quite possible and yes your ECU will work.. There are a few things wiring wise thatd need to be changed. I suggest you join the yahoo group for 1g in a 2g and read up as there is ALOT of info there.. but the basics of the swap can be found here..
