I read a review of a TurboXS basic single stage MBC (won't post the link due to forum rules). But the guy says you can make a custom "on/off" switch for it. Here is what he says

Install this with a switch and a factory vacuum solenoid found at any junk yard and you can switch between factory and manual settings. I used a factory headlight actuator switch from a ''90 model with lift up headlights I found at a junk yard, simple on/off operation and it looks totally stock on the dash. When letting some else use your car, turn off the switch and boost levels are factory set.

Can someone please explain this in more detail, exactly how this would be done? Im a little confused, wouldn't you somehow have to use the stock BCS AND THE MBC? How would you do that. I would be very interested in doing this, just saves me a trip under the hood.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks,
Jason

Oh, hummm. Well the way I took what the guy said is that he did something similar to the dual stage turboxs MBC where he just hit a switch high boost, hit another low boost. I'm understanding more, but still a little confused.
