I bought another 1g that was a good price. The owner said there was a walbro 255 in there, but he doesn't know much about dsm's because he picked the car up from his cousin for a daily driver.

How do you identify a walbro 255? Anybody know any specific part numbers. It does whine like a walbro, but I want to make sure its a 255 and not a 190.

Solution
it should be have a Walbro Logo stamped on it along with the part number GSS341 if it is a 255lph HP.

That is the correct one.

If it has GSS278 on it, you got a 190lph.

Good Luck!
