OK, the thing is I can get a new FMIC for only 400 bucks, but the thing is the IC inlet and outlet is only "2, but the upper and lower IC pipe is "2.5. Shouldn't this be ok, and how much would I gain from it from the stock.

Well considering you didnt give us any information about the intercooler, Ill guess that any intercooler with 2" inlet/outlets probably isnt very effiecient or much more efficient than the stock smic. Where did you find it from, what kind of endtanks does it have, how big is it and has it been pressure tested?
