i finally installed my 1g bov in my 95 gsx and i have a profec b. so wanted to boost 16psi. ill boost 16psi for awhile and it just slowly decreases with higher rpm. is that normal??? whats a good fix?

i have k&n fipk, n1 catback exhaust, profec b, crushed 1g bov.

Please be more clear. Do you mean that the PSI increases if you bring the rpm even higher? Or do you mean like... after you shift the psi is back up? Because when you shift, and the rpms go low again, the boost will go back to where it should be, and decrease with rpm.

Yes that's pretty normal. Especially if it's only dropping the amount you say it is.

The reason the boost is dropping is because the engine is consuming more air than the little turbo is producing. It usually happens around the 4700 rpm mark. The only fix for it is a turbo upgrade.
