just finished up my 6 bolt swap.. the car with a logger in accesorie position is getting 61 degrees of timing but when we play with the cas a little bit it goes back to 5 which is alright.. then all of a suuden it jumps back to 61.. my cam gears are lined up at 3:00 and 9:00.. but my intake cam is at a perfect horizontal angle should it be vertical meaning runing up and down, not side to side.. the car will turn over but not start it seems to be getting spark and definatly getting fuel. any help would be appreciated thanks

Dont "play" with the CAS without a timing light, end of story.

Dataloggers show you total ignition advance based on your car being correctly set at 5*BTDC. So unless you're base timing is correctly set, the datalogger will show garbage.

figured out the problem the intake cam is off 180 degrees.. do you think that me trying to start ther car bent any valves?

If exactly 180* then you may be in luck (intake and exhaust lobs were on same plain), though from my 15yrs experience with these "devil cars", there is no such thing as luck

Pull the valve cover and look for obvious signs of bent valves, the reset the cam and do a cold compression test. It will be obvious if a valve(s) are bent.

Stinks when a huge project like this ends with a fundamental mistake :barf:
