Has anyone ever heard of replacing the coolant overfill bottle with a gator-aid bottle???
I was planning on doin this for more room for my fmic piping. There is some sort of sensor at the bottom of the stock overfill bottle. Can i remove that ?? thanks jon

The overflow bottle doesn't have to be anything special, it just has to have enough room for the radiator to press out and suck in coolant.

Yes there is a sensor on the bottom. You can remove it, but you'll get a coolant level indicator on your dash. To turn it off, you'll need to jump the two wires on the connector.

Personally, I think you should probably look for something better than a Gatorade bottle. Building one out of PVC and some brass fittings would be better.

this might be a dumb question, but... when you say to "jump the two wires", that means connect them rite ??
