Okay, here's my current situation. I'm looking to get some more pep out of my car currently, but I don't have the budget currently to do a 16g with supporting mods.

Background of car, it's a '95 TSi AWD with a '92 JDM motor, Cyclone intake mani, 2g exhaust manifold, o2 housing with wastegate dump. Now as for the turbo, I'm on a T25 at 15psi with MBC because the 14b that came with the motor was no good.

Now the thing I'm windering, is would there be any benefit to putting 1 14b on my car. Would I be able to push any more boost safely? Could I expect to see some amount of measurable gains?

Well, i'm going to be on the cars current fuel system. I just want to make sure the 14b is my best option for a turbo with the limited budget I have. I don't have the room to buy injectors, a FMIC or stuff for extensive tuning.

I didnt want to create a second 14B thread since my questions are the same as the thread starter's. However, i have a 255/AFPR/AFC/logger and a bar and plate FMIC. I too am on a budget but i might bite the bullet and get the TO4B Vtrim kit unless i get some answers/info on the 14b as a replacememt for my T25. gains? highest boost? etc.

Im hoping to hear from people in similar situations, not those who wish to talk about others that are making 300+hp.

Im sure Bigairskier1580 and i could use the info

Yes a 14b does have more potential than the t25, but the t25 is what you already have. unless you can find someone willing to part with a good 14b turbo, just do supporting mods for now until you can afford the bigger turbo. Unless of course you are happy with only making 300 hp. If you wanna make lots more power in the long run a 14b isn't the turbo to do it with. Stock sucks. On the other hand if you're gonna have the money later on and just want some extra umf out of it now, or a good 14b falls into your lap, go for it.

Well, my T25 is going to be shitting the bed soon likely. So i'm going to be in the market for a new turbo, and not looking to make huge power. The car is going to be setup for autox mostly when all is said and done. And for a $150 turbo, if I can squeeze a noticable gain of power out of the car...

Essentially, I'm looking to see what the stock fuel system will be capable of pushing a 14b on a 6bolt with a 2g manifold, o2 housing dump, and an MBC.
